Help bring The Vulcan back to life and play your part in Wales’ story by donating today!

This is your chance to play a part in The Vulcan’s story. Donate today and support this iconic piece of Cardiff history.

The Vulcan was first registered as an ‘ale house’ on Adam Street, Cardiff in 1853 and served the mainly Irish community of Newtown. During its long history, the pub saw major changes as Cardiff grew to become an industrial powerhouse, and then the nation’s capital.  The Vulcan Hotel closed its doors in May 2012 and brick-by-brick we have been hard at work rebuilding the iconic pub at St Fagans National Museum of History.

You too can support this iconic piece of Cardiff history by donating today.  As a charity we rely on the generosity of the people and visitors of Wales to help us protect, preserve and portray the story of Wales for generations to come.

Join us, share your support and be part of this exciting new chapter at St Fagans.
